Audrey Taylor, DDS – Dentist
Dr Taylor knew her calling was to dentistry the day she sat down as a dental assistant. Dr Taylor worked her way up from the bottom, as she wanted to really understand every position in the dental office. She attended Johnson County Community College where she received her degree in Dental Hygiene. After seven years of hygiene, she found herself back in school, where she graduated from UMKC school of Dentistry. Immediately following dental school, Dr Taylor did a one-year General Practice Residency followed by two-year combined Prosthodontics Residency at the Kansas City VAMC. Dr Taylor was able to relocate to Michigan where she had the opportunity to teach students the fine art of prosthodontics. After she began a family, she and her husband David moved back to Kansas to start her private practice in Topeka. Through it all Dr Taylor has raised three successful children to young adulthood, managed a thriving practice and continues to be an active member of Heartland Dental Study Club and her church. Dr Taylor is known for her kind words, gentle touch, and commitment to her patients. She enjoys listening to the small details of their lives and working with them to create a perfect smile while putting their apprehensions at bay.
Michelle – Office Manager
Michelle has been a key member of our team for over 20 years. She started as a dental assistant and became the full-time office manager in August of 2020. Due to her experience of over 30 years in dentistry, she is well suited to assist patients both clinically and financially with any questions or concerns that may arise. When Michelle is not working you will find her at the lake, curled up with a book or enjoying time with friends and family.
Chelsea – Registered Dental Hygienist
Chelsea graduated from Flint Hills Technical College with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010 and has been a valued member of Dr. Taylor’s team since 2011. She is passionate about providing exceptional preventive dental care and enjoys building relationships with patients of all ages, from children experiencing their first dental visit to adults navigating more complex treatment plans. Her gentle approach and commitment to patient comfort help create positive dental experiences for every patient she serves.
Outside the office, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has been happily married to her husband for nearly two decades, and together they are blessed with five beautiful daughters. When she’s not caring for patients, she loves embracing lake life, exploring the outdoors, traveling to new places, and creating lasting memories with the people she loves most.
Ginny – Registered Dental Hygienist
Ginny has been married to Doug for over 30 years. They have 5 grown children, 9 grandchildren and love spending time with their family. She is originally from southern California, but now considers herself a true Kansas gal. She graduated from UMKC-School of Dentistry in Dental Hygiene in 1997 and has been in clinical practice ever since. She is passionate about patient comfort and education. She’s outgoing, loves a good dad joke (or 12) and talks ALOT.
Ernestina – Dental Assistant

Kristy started in the dental field in 2005. She joined Dr. Taylor’s team in 2024. She has worked as an assistant to the front office.
When not in the office, Kristy likes spending time with her husband and grown girls.
Bernie – Dental Assistant
Bernie started her dental career in 2001 and joined our team in June of 2021. When she is not at the office, Bernie spends time with her five kids, ten grandkids and two dogs. She also enjoys going for motorcycle rides and bonding with friends.
Tara – Auxiliary Assistant
In her spare time, Tara loves spending time in nature, gardening, backpacking, camping, hiking, kayaking and general outdoor wandering. She’s an avid traveler, taking most any and all opportunities to venture out on a road trip or board a plane or ship. When home, Tara can be found either in her craft studio working on a project or with her nose buried in a book. Her 2 fur babies, Gurdy and Kahlua are always by her side.
Virginia – Dental Assistant
Virginia has been a dental assistant for a little more than 3 years and was fortunate enough to have on the job training. She is kind and considerate of her patients and enjoys helping them achieve a great smile. She has 2 Boston terriers that she likes to spoil named Ivy and June Bug. She is active in volunteering and loves to read, fish and bake in her spare time.
Alyssa – Dental Assistant
Alyssa has been a dental assistant for 2 years. She likes to hang out with her friends and spend time with her dog named Tuna.
